The face of Seaton is changing

We really couldn’t be happier with the finishes to our bespoke timber frames.

From luxury Penthouse apartments along the sea front to circular restaurants and the overlooking housing behind.

We are proud to be a part of these modern additions and look forward to building more in this up and coming seaside Town.

Seaton Beach Apartment open day

Having constructed the penthouse to these impressive apartments it was a pleasure to attend the open day on Sunday.

It was a really nice touch for the developer Mike Webb to organise this event to thank the contractors for their input throughout the design and build.

The turn-out was really good, it was nice to see the enthusiasm and appreciation from Mike for everyones hard work to build this special passivhaus building.

Gwithian Towans, Cornwall – what a beautiful place to build 17 quality timber frame chalets

Work is progressing well in Gwithian down in sunny Cornwall, 4 chalet’s complete with 13 more to follow soon.

Looking forward to seeing the finished results, the chalet designs certainly have some interesting features. From mysterious holes in the floors to fully vaulted ceilings, circular port holes to large roof lights and who can miss our 6’4″ site erector!!

Old Tiverton Rd, Exeter – When we asked for our Banners to be visible, I didn’t expect it this high up!!

Our frame on Old Tiverton Road, Exeter is progressing well with the roof structure nearing construction. The fire rated frame makes for some interesting colours to the flat roof structure!!

The roof structure in itself is interesting formed from cranked steels and loose rafters, prefabricated and detailed prior to delivery to site. This method maximises on the offsite construction method reducing site work programs giving access to following trades as quickly as possible.

It’s also good to see our banners out and about in the South West!

Why have a standard roof when you can have one of these!!

It’s fantastic to see the finished result of a project that created some interesting design/engineering challenges for us. The structure forming the conical roof was very intricate using numerous timbers in a very tight space, it’s clear to see the work involved was well worth the effort!!
