Harbour Beach Club Hotel & Spa, South Sands, Salcombe

The logistics of supplying and erecting a 4-storey timber frame were always going to be a challenge, in this beautiful area of Devon.

Although the view from the rooms is obviously beautiful, you cannot ignore the amazing finish of the building itself. The finished product really makes all the hard work worthwhile. From our initial structural design proposal, through to site erection of our timber frame this is a project to be proud.

A big thank you goes out to all who helped us design and construct our package, through what was a difficult year for the whole country.

The Salvador 600 has arrived!!

Following the install and training on our new automatic Salvador 600 cross cut saw, we are already seeing benefits of this impressive machine.

Timber wastage has reduced dramatically, and you can’t help being impressed with the angle cutting which has always been a laborious task in the past.

We must be honest, that like any machine, it is only as good as the person using it, so well done Luke who has mastered the whole process excellently.

Opening plans for Parklife Cafe & Hub building in Heavitree, Exeter

It’s not quite there yet but, it appears that the opening date for this exciting project is not far away – click here for an update.

The frame itself gave us a number challenges, but it is clear to see from the end results that it was all worthwhile.

We look forward to visiting for a coffee and a cake very soon, and obviously admire our exposed timber beams!!
